Moonglow & Wishes Candle
This candle was designed to celebrate our 1st birthday and makes the perfect birthday gift! Vanilla cake and rainbow sprinkles with subtle notes of warm, smoldering wood.
Candles were lit to make them glow like the moon. Ancient Greeks would make round cakes adorned with candles to honor Artemis, the goddess of the moon. The lit candles on the cake represented the reflected moonlight, and smoke from the candles carried their wishes to the Gods who lived in the skies. Today’s tradition of making wishes before blowing out your birthday candles may have started from that belief.
Each time you blow this candle out, make sure to wish big!
- Understated, 8 oz. violet-black glass jar, will glow beautifully for a total of 45+ hours
- Hand poured in small batches in the USA
- Our candles are crafted with a soy wax blend, using domestically grown soy
- Our oils are the highest quality, phthalate free fragrances and the all cotton, lead-free wick is clean burning
Candle care : Trim the wick ¼” before each use. For best results, burn for a minimum of 3 hours to ensure that the wax melts evenly, creating a perfect pool, optimizing your burn time. Please do not exceed 4 hours at a time.
*If smoking occurs, please extinguish flame and trim the wick, then relight. Do not leave burning candle unattended. Keep away from children & pets. Place on temperature safe surface.
